In my previous text I explain in detail how we radiate vibrations on different frequencies depending on our mood, emotions and feelings. Simply said, good feelings – or high vibrations – attract good things and negative feelings – or low vibrations – attract negative things. The aura that we give off is noticeable, just as we will perceive the energy of other people when we walk into a room for example. Our vibrations determine whether people will feel good spending their time with us, whether or not we appear as charismatic and charming and whether people will feel drawn to us. And it impacts how we walk through life, of course.
Here are 9 things that you can do every day to vibrate on a higher frequency.
1. Engage in a healthy Lifestyle
Nothing will make you feel more low energy than neglecting your health. The basics of a healthy lifestyle are 7 to 9 hours of sleep, eating healthy and nutritious foods, exercising and moving your body, hydration and getting fresh air and sunlight. Some vegetables are known to cleanse your body and give you more energy. Such are raw whole foods, greens, fruits and nuts. Also, try to give your body a break from using too much technological devices.
2. Meditation
In our busy lives it’s very easy to let ourselves be overwhelmed with stress. Stress can bring down our vibration. Therefore, it’s important to find time for ourselves and let go of what is making us feel bad. We can release bad energy through deep breaths and need to come back into our bodies and let go. During meditation try to calm down, breathe deeply and regularly, let go of stressful thoughts and just sit in a comfortable position and in silence for a little while.
3. Grounding and spending time in Nature
Everything in nature – animals, humans, plants, the elements, sunshine, etc. – have (high) vibrations and give off energy. Touching the ground, whether that’s grass, sand, water etc., with our bare feet or laying down, swimming and especially hugging trees is something very healthy to do. Nature is known for being able to heal us by sending energy through our body and stimulating the cells within our bodies.
4. Don’t let outside Circumstances disturb your inner Peace
One of the most important spiritual lessons to learn is to not let your mood be dictated by incidents that are out of your control. If something doesn’t go according to plan, accept that it happened, that you can’t do anything about it and that this occurrence is not worth bringing you down an putting you in a bad mood. This could be if the weather isn’t what you expected it to be, you’re late, you miss an opportunity, somebody doesn’t treat you well, you get disappointed and so on. Try to always maintain your peace in every situation as good as you can.
5. Show Gratitude and Appreciation
Being able to appreciate the things you have in your life rather than chasing after what you don’t have is an important spiritual practice. Showing gratitude towards the people and material things that you have, support you and make your life better is a great way of vibrating on higher levels. Gratitude, together with love, harmony and enlightenment are the feelings that will enable you to vibrate on the highest frequencies. Those frequencies lie between 500 and 700+ Hz. Showing gratitude is a crucial part of manifestation and the Law of Attraction as well.
6. Consume positive Content
Have you experienced before that listening to sad music when you’re already sad makes you cry even more? Movies, books, music and other kinds of content can make us feel strong emotions. I’m sure you too have been touched by a sad movie before or felt very happy because of up-beat music. Well, violent, sad, angry or disturbing content can mess things up for us pretty badly. Remember that next time you decide to engage in things you know will bring you down.
7. Don’t compare but accept Yourself
Going to war with yourself is not beneficial to you in any possible way. Comparing yourself to other people that you think are further in life, more successful, more beautiful or simply just better is a waste of time. Nothing feels worse than going to bed and not appreciating who you are. You see, loving and accepting yourself is a beautiful art that is worth mastering. Being happy and content with who you are raises your vibrations and other people will be able to notice how much you care about and love yourself.
8. Spend Time doing what you love
Personally, I started dancing salsa a couple of months ago. Dancing in general makes me really happy but this dance especially. The music, the movements and the fact that I’m dancing with a partner makes me feel really good and I look forward to each lesson every week. Try to find a hobby that makes you excited to leave the house. Likewise, put a lot of effort into relationships and people that make you feel understood, heard, supported and loved. Because when we spend time with those kinds of people is when we feel best and vibrate on the highest frequencies.
9. Physical contact
For our mental and physical health it’s very important to feel connected to other people because naturally we’re not able to live alone and in isolation long-term. Besides communication with other humans we need intimacy and connection. It’s a natural longing to feel like somebody has got our back. Physical contact is part of that. I’m sure you know how therapeutic a meaningful hug can feel when we need it the most. Hug, kiss, cuddle, hold hands etc. as often as you can. It feels good, I promise <3
