I know that looking for spirituality in our daily lives can make us more centered, calm, and happy. But can it make us more successful as well? If we lead with spirituality in mind, will we come further in life? I don’t want to restrain myself here to money-aspects only, but to overall life successes: education, relationships, mindset, daily lifestyle, how we approach and deal with difficult situations in general and so much more. Will we go through life differently when we remind ourselves of the connection that we have with a higher power above and within? Will we end up in a different place than if we neglect that internal spiritual gut feeling that we all have? Here are my thoughts…
More successful through… Trust
The easiest way to approach difficult situations and let ourselves be led through them up until we reach success, is through trust. Trust is a broad concept that can be applied to all kind of situations, however it also lies at the core of each solution to each problem. I see it in the bakery I’m currently working part-time. The greater your trust in your employees, the more they feel appreciated and the better they do the work for you. Who profits at the end? Everyone, especially the leading figure.
But trust goes beyond that. Trust can help you keep your head above water when you think you’re drowning. It helps you keep going when you really want to give up. Trust helps you remind yourself of your abilities, even if you don’t really see the results you’re desiring. Trust helps you be more open to your big plan in life and not let hardship get ahead of you. Always trust: in your abilities, in destiny, in the people around you, in yourself. Trust, that everything will work out for you in the end, no matter where you’re heading.
through… Manifestation
Manifestation is the science of turning things from an idea into reality. There have been written many books (such as The Secret, Think and Grow Rich, Becoming Supernatural, etc.) about the wonders of manifestation and what it can bring you – and where. The idea is that through the power of your mind you attract things that have that same frequency of your mood and thinking. Basically, if you have positive thoughts and feelings, you will attract good things – and vice versa. But it goes beyond this. If you keep picturing yourself in the position you want to be in, in a place, in a job, in a financial state, with certain people, having certain things, being a certain someone, you can make it happen through the power of your mind. I have written three blogs on this before:
- Everything is Energy and Vibrations
- Everything about manifestation – 9 ways to manifest faster
- The one simple thing you need to understand about manifesting if you’re confused
It’s a wonderful theory to dive into, even though it can be a bit confusing at first. I really recommend you read yourself into the topic a little. You will benefit tremendously from what you’ll learn 🙂
More successful through… Lessons
Talking about lessons might seem a little vague in this context. But let me tell you that life is a school and you will profit from everything you learn, whether those lessons were hard or easy, pleasant or horrific. Everything you learn will make you better at the next difficult decision you’ll have to make. This is the case in everything: Love, business, friendship, personal, development, growth, health, etc. Spirituality helps you accept more difficult lessons faster and actually makes you want to embrace them. Because experiences serve as tools in the future. And therefore, they will tremendously make you more successful in the future. So, don’t be scared of having to go through difficult things, facing hardship or not knowing what to do. You’ll learn eventually and it will always be beneficial.
More successful through… Grounded Mentality
True spirituality is known of turning us into better people. Here are 10 traits spiritual people have, and being detached, trusting, kind, trustworthy and grounded are some of them. Being grounded in who you are and what you can do helps you handle situations better. Not throwing tantrums when something doesn’t go your way, when people don’t act the way you expect them to, when having to face failures and losses etc. is so much easier when you learnt who you are at your core.
When I think of a strong business leader, having a grounded mentality and way to approach situations is a very desirable trait to have. At the end of the day, the decision you make from a more grounded point of view, will be more thought through, not abrupt, risky or rushed. Good things take time. And if you can implement this by facing the world by being grounded, you can only win. And successes are nearer than you think.
through… Openness to growth
I talked about this specific concept SO MANY TIMES. The more you embrace change, the further you’ll come. Growing is an inevitable part of life. You can’t escape or avoid it. So, the more open you are to facing situations that challenge you – from moving out of your comfort zone, to trying new things, meeting new people, learning new things, tap into your potential – the more of a full life you will live at the end. Growth to me is a synonym to success because it will open doors for you that before were closed. Sometimes things first appear as difficult and unpleasant and reveal themselves as the biggest gift only later in life. So, don’t fight change, don’t hinder growth, don’t try to stay in the same place just because it’s comfortable. Because, at the end, you could actually miss out on so many successes.
and through… Mental clarity
This one, I would say, is just a side effect of spiritual practices in general. As I have stated before, I’m an advocate of meditation, and here I listed all the benefits it has, mental clarity being one of them. But not just that. Approaching life with a more trusting, grounded and ultimately spiritual attitude will help you take off some of that worry that the future and life in general can bring (especially if you’re trying to build something like a business, a side hustle, a relationship or a healthy lifestyle). Uncertainty is often the thief of joy in not-so-secure situations. Approaching this with the above mentioned trust and other spiritual concepts, will bring you mental clarity like no other thing can.
Also, people who want to grow and learn (especially about things like spirituality), usually read a lot, which is another thing that will enhance mental clarity. And lastly, seeking advice from other people (whether that’s people you know or on the internet), and receiving second opinions, will help you make decisions more easily, which is another thing I recommend you do more 🙂 (See here my library of recommended spiritual books).
More successful through… Embracing Flow
Lastly, I want to talk about flow. Not forcing something can take off so much weight and make anything easier, which is why flow is the motto of the year for me. In previous blogs, I have stated that if something is meant to be you won’t have to force it. You can not enforce success in something that is not meant to be yours. Just as something that is meant for you can’t be taken away from you. Having said that, that doesn’t mean that things won’t be hard sometimes. Especially if you’re trying to build something and become more successful in the process, you will have to overcome countless challenges. That’s just part of the game. But you’ll feel it in your gut if something’s right for you.
And finally… Gratitude
I thought I would put gratitude at the end of this list, as it seems to me to be the most important one. Not only is gratitude an essential aspect of manifestation, that will help you bring more things to your life, it will also make your life better on its own. Life can bring so many difficult situations to our lives and make us suffer over and over again. So, when we finally realize what we do before we notice what we don’t have, our attitudes towards life already changes. Even if you haven’t reached the point in life you would eventually love to be at, appreciate your life anyway. Appreciate all aspects about it; your relationships, your health, your abilities, your body, your home, your job and education, the fact that you live in a safe place, your clothes, the food on your plate and everything else you have achieved already. Gratitude helps you stay positive in the meantime, when you’re still waiting to achieve things. Being grateful will only make your life better. So, practice it more often <3
To finish this blog eventually, I want to share a quote I read and that I love. Hopefully, it’ll give you the last push of motivation you need.
No matter how saturated the market is, if God called you there, there’s room for you.
Love, Valentina <3
