They each provide so many interesting insights on the Spiritual world and offer excellent explanations of how this higher Power within and above us works. I really hope you find a book or two that truly inspires you <3

What this book is about: Through hypno-therapy Michael Newton got to know the depth of the human soul. He speaks with his subjects about our lives, what happens between death and rebirth, why and how we choose our lives, what relationship we have with other souls, what destiny is, how it manifests itself while we’re on earth. He also talks about spirit guides and many more fascinating things about our souls, about the agreement we have with others and why sometimes we have really difficult relationships with the ones around us.

Becoming Supernatural – Dr. Joe Dispenza

Then, he shares a list of wonderful meditations that can heal our body, soul, heart and mind. He explains the power of self-healing our bodies have and does it all from a scientific perspective. He knows everything about chakras, the energy centers of our body, and so much more. Very powerful and insightful book!

Why I love this book: This is a very theoretical, and less story-y book. It delivers so many reasonable and logical explanations and is a wonderful book for those of you who like facts over beliefs.

What this book is about: In this book, the student and athlete Dan Millman meets a man called Socrates who absolutely changes his life. He helps him see his daily life in so many different ways, helping him to wake up more and more. It’s about where you can find spirituality in the mundane things. It’s a book about spiritual discipline and awakening, filled with so many oh-moments. Definitely worth a read!

Why I love this book: Like the first book, this is a fictional story inspired by Millman’s real life. He illustrates his spiritual journey in a well-written way. Through his words, he has the power to inspire the reader to get more in touch with their own spirituality and explains somewhat complicated theory through a beautiful story.
If the Buddha dated – Charlotte Kasl
What this book is about: This book is all about love, and how we can integrate spirituality into our love lives. It’s about how to “find love on a spiritual path”. It teaches the reader things they should always take into consideration when making decisions about love; who could be right for them, what we should look for, what are deal breakers…

Why I love this book: This is such a fresh outlook on what love should be like, what we should and shouldn’t accept, what importance love carries on a spiritual level, like a pov from a bigger picture. Truly inspiring!
The Dalai Lama’s cat – David Michie
What this book is about: The Dalai Lama saves a little cat in this story – who is the protagonist. Alongside the big spiritual leader, the cat learns many valuable lessons about ego, pride, generosity, humility and good and bad character, of course enhanced and accompanied by wise quotes of the Dalai Lama.

Through a spiritual journey of self-discovery he finds his way back to the simple buddhist way of living, discovering what life is really about.
Which spiritual aspects this book talks about: buddhism, humility, materialism, karma, self-discovery
Why I love this book: It’s an older novel, a german classic, not something I’m usually into. Still, this book was able to open my eyes about certain important spiritual aspects that are easy to loose sight of in our modern day lives.
The Café on the Edge of the World – John Strelecky
What this book is about: The café at the end of the world is a well known book about spirituality. And even though I really liked it, I would say this is a book to read if you’re knew to the whole word of spirituality. It talks about rather basic things, like why we live our lives a certain way or why each moment isn’t as it always seems and is much more special than what we consider it to be, that are still super important to understand.
Which spiritual aspects this book talks about: spirituality in our daily lives, our place in life, single moments
Why I love this book: It’s a very good book to read if you don’t know where to start. It’s a little book but very special. It’s also quite well-known, so maybe you should try it too 🙂
The Mountain is you – Brianna Wiest
What this book is about: This book is like the other book of Brianna Wiest not primarily about spirituality, but rather a self-therapy book. However, because our painful experiences dictate so much of our life course and the lessons we learn, I find it highly relevant to anyone who’s interested in spirituality.
Which spiritual aspects this book talks about: emotions, trauma, therapy, emotional wounds, self-help
Why I love this book: It’s so well written, I loved it! It’s also not only very informative, it also feels like a hug or a good conversation with your friend. It’s like therapy! It will provide you with so many pieces of advice while also being entertaining. Worth a read!
Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill
What this book is about: This book is really about how to get successful in life, especially financially but in other areas of life as well. It talks a lot about the power of the mind – which I also have written about quite a lot – and what role your thoughts ultimately play in how much success you’ll achieve in life. It is considered a must read.
Which spiritual aspects this book talks about: manifestation, law of attraction, power of the mind, growth
Why I love this book: It’s a mixture of personal anecdotes, the stories of really successful people in the past, and what they all had in common. It could be perceived as a through and through factual book that talks about money. But it’s much more than that. It doesn’t leave out spirituality, which I love about this book.
12 Rules for Life – Jordan B. Peterson
What this book is about: In 12 chapters, the well-known psychologist Jordan Peterson talks about very philosophical and psychological subjects in a profound and intellectual way. Not only does it serve as a guide to bettering one’s life, it also makes you question a number of things, like it did in my case!
Which spiritual aspects this book talks about: meaning of life, good and bad, purpose, self-journey and -growth
Why I love this book: I read it because it’s a very popular book. However, I was surprised how many spiritual issues I could find in there. Fun fact, this book inspired this blog of mine about what is good and what is evil. Worth a read!
