Lately, I read a book that was called “Sex mit dem Universum” (sex with the universe). To be honest, it was the title that caught my attention, but luckily the story of the book was wonderful.
The quintessence, the main take-away, was truly insightful, and inspired this week’s text. It’s about how we can make most of life through the way we live it. And this is my interpretation of it.
You are guided always
More important than the plot of the book – very briefly: before he can come to earth, a little angel needs to take a seminar in the university in heaven and learns a bunch of useful lessons, for him and for us – were the messages behind the story.
It doesn’t matter what you believe in – God, the universe as an energy, nature, angels, spirit guides, soul mates – we are guided by something, even if that might be ‘just’ an energy.
Energy, btw, is an absolute powerful thing that lies beyond our ability of comprehension, that guides and forms everything we experience in this universe.
Devote yourself to your spiritual home
We should live life as if we were having sex with the universe: filled with passion, led through complete trust, and experienced with joy.
To live a wonderful life, we have to bring a daily and constant effort to look for experiences that are out of the ordinary.
Take control of your life
We have the ability to choose how we react to situations. Gabriel, the little angel, was told that people look at their lives as if it was a movie. But they don’t know that if something happens that they don’t like, they can just change the DVD.
Our thinking is programmed through the experiences we have made before. They are not a reality, just a perception of life we have acquired so far. We have the power to change that subconscious programming. We just have to bring a constant effort.
And the little angel’s task is to assist us in that – that journey through what we call life – if we let them. We should remind ourselves that we are never alone on this earth.
We are part of a bigger power, the universe, manifesting ourselves as humans, to make human experiences. Sometimes, we forget where we’re from, what we are and what we can do.
Put your focus on the important
We can choose to stop living in fear by reminding ourselves that we have the power to change how we perceive life. That’s how we can make it better. In each and every single moment.
We can dedicate our lives through expressing our spiritual nature – having a mission, making art, following our purpose, becoming better. And while we do that, we should always stand straight.
We have nothing to fear and nothing to loose. And we have no idea what we’re capable of if we let fear behind. Just look at what other people have already created. The universe stands behind us and assists us in every decision we take. If we trust it, if we devote ourselves to it.
If we live life as if we were having sex with the universe, it will be so much more enjoyable. Let me know what you think of that 🙂
